General:

Central Transit is the name under which the City of Ellensburg provides transit services to it's residents. It was formed in 2011 in collaboration with the Associated Students of Central Washington University, HopeSource, and the Washington State Department of Transportation and receives funding from all of these entities to support operations. Operations of the system are contracted to HopeSource, a private nonprofit organization. Central Transit also provides the city's paratransit and cabulance services.

Routes:

All routes run 7 days a week and every 60 minutes, except for Route 12, which runs every 30 minutes. 

• 12 South to Umptanum & Ruby / North to Airport & Greenfield (Verge)
• 13 South to Chestnut & Seattle (KVH) / North to Beech & Elmview
• 14 South to Capitol & Willow (EHS) / North to Bender & Ellington
• 15 East to I-90 Interchange / West to Downtown via Dolarway Road
• 16 East to I-90 Interchange / West to Downtown via University Way

All routes run with one bus, except for Route 12, which runs with two. Timetables and bus signage differentiate between the two using "12A" and "12B".
