Wow! What an interesting day! I got to take 9986 here (7;30 am 16 to brock) AND I got to take the 9264 with the crazzzzy old women home! (4:55 16 from brock to downtown) I love STC~

No route 13 was Carlton street and had very low ridership so was eliminated....there was never a new route named 13 because they didn't want to confuse the large number of seniors in the area....

I think there is a couple reasons -they do use a ton of buses -when brock is not in session-ie now like reading week, they cut down on most routes and don't use very many if any including most spring/summer -because there is so many extras if someone needs accessiblitity another bus is usually only a few minutes away, i have witnessed this a few times with the 4 and they usually send an extra during rush our before/after and the 16s come like 2mins from brock during rush hour....

Yes evening/weekend service is fully accessible so you won't see any on the 104/110/118--the only exception is the 116 extras at night they are used. They are usually used in 2 out of the 3 16s that run during the day---the crazy old lady who only drives them is always doing the first 16 run of the day so 6:45am from terminal and every 45 min. intervals after that are def. one......used to be very often 1 of the 2 #4s, but becoming rarer. I llive in the rez across from Brock so i see the 16s go by everyday and can guarantee you will get to ride them then, i have a tally chart of which #s i see too. The 18 used to have them a lot---but also become rarer--never heard of them being on the 3 or very very rarely the 10. Def check out 16 and 4. ohhhh and the 21 confed from Brock has one ALMOST everyday! thats antoher guarantee----and sometimes the tupper or 122 also.....

orions are on the daytime 16 mon-fri at least 2 of the 3 busses on that route...if not all 3....usually one of the oakdale ones theres this one REALLY mean OLD OLD OLD lady with short white hair who ONLY drives the ORIONS! I See her almost everytime I see an ORION LOL!!! usually the on the #4.....she is super mean....if you want to really piss her off when ur at the terminal ask her what time the #13 leaves......she will LOSE it!!!! LOL ps busses near Pen center (4/122/15/18) are running very FAR behind schedule with all the pen center rush......leave lots of EXTRA time! I was late for class 2X this week!!!

what a pain...... glenrdige closed all day between st. davids and glendale due to some 'gas leak' in a construction area........ ended up havin to take the #16 re-routed to glendale up burleigh hill to st. davids.... chaos!!!!!! stc supposedly put 'extra' busses in service...the driver i spoke to said they had 1 extra.....doesnt really make a difference when its a 15 mins re-route! thanks again SCT!!

Of course as soon as i post this! i rode 0901 on a #122 at 2pm today from Brock.....seaway mall ad on side driver said it was the only 09 in service, just this week......

has ANYONE spoted an 09 yet??? Are they in service YET???

Well bill, Sadly my thoughts are if this happened shortly after 4pm I would guess high school students were trying to be cool and are responsible for this. I don't know if they would investigate into this and if so how they would be able to catch the person anyway....I doubt it would be worth their time or effort... It is very sad how disrespectful some ppl are though. some of the drivers are really good, not even driving when kids have thier feets on seats, others dont seem to want to be bothered with it... I have taken the 16 and 2 everyday 2 times for last 5 yrs and I have seen some pretty bad conditions, but never that bad....I would be interested to see if they ever did anything about it, but somehow I am doubtful.... went by the garage today only saw 2 out back....they wouldnt let me go in or take pics....a new guy i had never talked to before...

I just think if you knew our transit system a bit better you could see the potential 'chaos' in terms of delays...... All our routes are already on such tight schedules, I take the bus almost daily and have to beg for the operator to call to hold my 116 or wait an extra half hour cause I will miss it by seconds..... bike racks added=disruption in service. I just dont think its a great idea for ST. CATHARINES transit! Other places yes! But for the way we are set up, nope! Again just my opinion, don't want to start nothign here

The only thing I can think of is maybe b/c of safety??? Or maybe just the fact they will probably have to be getting out and showing users how to do it at the beginning.....????? It sure is going to be chaos though!!! what a dumb idea!!!

#0807 was being used during the parade yesterday as the 'fill the bus w/ food'....looked pretty empty..... they also had a bus going around at the beginning and end...I think it was 0701 but I dont remember..... again the wine festival was a good time

oh if only they brought back the booze bus!! Those were my good old days @ brock....I think the booze bus was more fun then actually going out! too bad ppl had to trash it and stuff....i dont think they would ever bring that back now

was down at grape and wine last weekend saw #105 parked at the terminal around 2am...since when does SCT leave busses there overnight? a good time was had also!

Brock finally has a sunday 122.....time to finally get with the program st. kitts....

I saw 9051 doing the #4s yesterday.....still being used for #4s sometimes....

ive still seen a few of the orion Vs driving around for the summer.... i guess not out of service until september? anyone have any ideas?

From what I have heard and seen they are fully implemented, even on some of the Orion Vs MAybe lap screw can give further insight, but i take the bus several times daily and they are very rarely on, or if on, they are almost always silenced....

Its actually like 95% of the drivers that turn off the annoucements. And yes the Orion Vs were only being used for the route #16 and #4, but as of today, thursday april 23, the university is done, so no more orion Vs until September 7th now.
