Just know the work you're going to be getting for those first 10 months in probably night shift or on spare board. If you're looking for day work you will probably be looking at spare board with Tues weds off and 4 to 5 hour splits. It's a tough little bit.
I know lots of guys trying to leave ttc for miway and if you already have seniority built there you may as well stay unless you're willing to sacrifice your time.
Like someone else replied, if you have a family, you won't be seeing them for a while especially if you live far unless you're willing to commit to nights. If you're single, nothing to worry about, do your time.
