Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority 8000-8999 are NABI 045C.02 (45C-LFW) CNG "CompoBuses" manufactured in 2004. These buses are constructed from a composite material rather than stainless steel, causing them to be much lighter than conventional vehicles. They are all painted in Metro Rapid livery.
