Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority 3000-3019 are 1998 New Flyer D40LF buses. This order was originally an order for Citizens Area Transit (CAT) of Las Vegas, NV which was later rejected by CAT.
These are the last diesel buses to be owned and operated by the LACMTA, contracted buses notwithstanding.
