Why is RTC getting D60LF's from BTC?
-
Translinkid, can you draw an XDE60 in the B Line paint that's on the D60LF's?

Another thing I'd like to see in the near future is CNG for RTC, BTC, and possibly VTC.
I think CNG shouldn't go to VTC, since there is a fair amount of trolley buses, and hybrids. How about STC?

I think it got refurbished again because of the 10 year investment plan. Although, considering it's age, it's weird that they decided to refurbish a 19 year old bus.
How long do you bet 8020 might last? Considering it's age of 19 years.

What is a aBRT?
BRT stands for: Bus Rapid Transit. Maybe someone can explain what this is?

Was on 8020 and its freshly refurbished!
8020 decent enough to get rebuild? Wow, I'm surprised that it got rebuilt again. Did the bus have the seats replaced?

I don't why, but I find anything in the BC Transit livery creepy. I am more of a fan of Sweep-R
Why are the BC Transit liveries creepy?

Someone installed fabric seat covers on 9520 as a stand-in for the original plastic ones that presumably were damaged. Let's just say I'm really displeased...
You mean the type of fabric on the E40LFR's? Plastic?

Why are all the buses so dirty lately?

Saw the H16024 and H16025 being driven around on Arthur lane Bridge heading toward Sea Island. Didn't see if they had BC License plate.
Can you please stop using the word "the" in front of fleet numbers, as mentioned before. Example: 'Saw the H16024' vs 'Saw H16024'. Thanks!

A wrongly signed bus
Sometimes, bus drivers do that just for the fun of it.

On December 10, 2016 I rode V12024 on route 49 to Metrotown Station. The driver stopped on the up-hill Vivian Ave bus stop. When he started to depart the stop, the bus got stuck under the ice and snow. The driver struggled for about ten minutes, alternating between DRIVE and REVERSE, then, the driver of V12010 who was driving on the opposite direction stopped and turned on the emergency lights and walked over to my bus. He talked with my driver. They (driver of V12010) agreed that my bus driver would have us get off the bus and wait while V12010's driver successfully drove V12024 out of the stop, but ended up scrapping the area around the articulating joint (go figure...) after that, V15019 arrived from behind us and picked up half of the passengers from the bus I was on, but it filled up quickly so the other half of us (including me) ended up boarding V12024 again. I feel bad for the bus driver. : ( Are VTC bus operators trained to drive articulated buses up snowy hills? Because my driver seemed to be having a hard time...

Spotted V9502 on Victoria Drive showing "351" on the destination sign.

It seems like it is hard because it does not seems like a common practice to change the bendy thing on a bus.
All the articulating joints are the same in TransLink's fleet, right?
