212 Dollarton Highway is a bus route operated by Coast Mountain Bus Company in Metro Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.

Route Details

This is an east-west route running in North Vancouver connecting Deep Cove and Phibbs Exchange running primarily along Dollarton Highway. Service runs daily every 30 minutes and every hour in the evening. From April to September on weekend/holiday evenings, service is increased to every 30 minutes.

Eastbound trips departing Phibbs Exchange heading south on Orwell Street, east on Main Street becoming Dollarton Highway, then north on N. Dollarton Highway becoming Deep Cove Road, then east on Gallant Avenue, south on Panorama Drive, east on Naughton Avenue, and north on Banbury Road to Banbury Road & Gallant Avenue. Evening trips terminate at Panorama Drive & Naughton Avenue.

Westbound trips depart from Banbury Road & Gallant Avenue heading north on Banbury Road, west on Gallant Avenue becoming Deep Cove Road then N. Dollarton Highway, west on Dollarton Highway becoming Main Street, north on Mountain Highway, east on Oxford Street, and south on Orwell Street to Phibbs Exchange. Evening trips start from Panorama Drive & Naughton Avenue heading south on Panorama Drive, east on Naughton Avenue, and north on Banbury Road to Banbury Road & Gallant Avenue, where it continues on the regular routing to Phibbs Exchange.

• October 1973 - Route introduced as 212 Dollarton; service operates from Phibbs Exchange to Banbury at Gallant.
• December 2008 - Sunday service improved to half-hour frequency
• September 2016 - North Vancouver Transit Centre closed down, operations moved to Burnaby Transit Centre
• April 2021 - Introduction of additional summer seasonal service on weekend/holiday evenings
• August 13, 2021 - Changes in Deep Cove operations: Terminus moved from Panorama Drive & Naughton Avenue to Banbury Road & Gallant Avenue for most trips. Evening trips remained at Panorama Drive & Naughton Avenue
• April 14, 2023 - Deep Cove terminus moved from Banbury Road & Gallant Avenue to Panorama Drive & Gallant Avenue
• June 2023 - Deep Cove terminus reverted back to Banbury Road & Gallant Avenue, with evening trips at Panorama Drive & Naughton Avenue
• July 24, 2023 - Phibbs Exchange upgrades: Terminus moved onto street-side exchange on Orwell Street
• August 7, 2023 - Phibbs Exchange upgrades: Bay relocated from Bay 9 (EB Oxford NS Orwell) to Bay 5 (NB Orwell NS Oxford) to improve transfer connections
• September 2023 - Service renamed from 212 Deep Cove/Phibbs Exchange to 212 Dollarton Highway
• May 6, 2024 - Completion of Phibbs Exchange upgrades. Stop relocated to inside the new loop
