Route 201 was a bus route operated by OC Transpo in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada.
Route Details
Route 201 was a shoppers route that served the Village of Richmond in Rideau Township and Stittsville. Service was only operated on Mondays with one trip per direction.
History
January 8th, 2012
- Route created to model the success of the Route 186 shoppers special to other sections of the city.
April 22nd, 2012
- Route will be modified slightly to serve the King's Grant neighbourhood, reducing walking distances for customers.
- Buses will operate from Perth Road via Shea, Moore and Queenston to Huntley in both directions.
April 20th, 2014
- Will no longer be diverted to serve Kanata Town Center due to low ridership. Buses will continue to service Katimavik Road.
- The service will be offered on Easter Monday.
December 25th, 2016
- Route is renumbered to Shoppers Route 301 in preparations for the launch of the O-Train Confederation Line in 2018.
