General
Route 185 operates between Dixie Transitway Station and Bramalea Terminal. It provides express service on Dixie Road, supplementing MiWay route 5 and Brampton Transit route 18 service.
The operation of route 185 is shared by both MiWay and Brampton Transit. With six buses needed to provide service, each agency provides three buses. All fare revenue is collected and kept by the respective agency.

- September 7, 2015 - Route 185 'Dixie Express' is introduced, operating between Dixie Transitway Station and Bramalea Terminal. Service operates during weekday rush hours with 15 minutes frequency. Stops: Eglinton, Matheson, Britannia, Meyerside, Courtneypark, Midway, Derry, Drew, Steeles, Balmoral, Clark.
- March 23, 2020 - Due to a drop in customer demand stemming from the COVID-19 pandemic, the route is cancelled until further notice. Local service south of Derry Road East continues to be provided by route 5 Dixie.
