These D4500CTs were delivered with the new GO Transit livery and CCTV cameras. The front window sun shades are controlled remotely by the driver, rather than having to be manually pulled down in all other GO Transit buses. The interior of this batch of buses differs from GO's other D4500CTs as the interior trim on the ceiling and walls uses LaFrance's navy "Summer Companion" fabric. The floor from the stairs to the top of the ramp is grooved (same as that on [[GO Transit 1600-1619|the 1600-1619]] series), and the stairwell area is more narrow than older D4500s in the fleet. These buses also have an updated steering wheel similar in appearance to those on some of the 1600-1619 series. This series ordered and delivered with Recaro Ergo Metro driver seats.

In 2021, three units from this and previous order (2437, 2439, & 2442) were converted to mobile COVID-19 vaccination clinic "VAX buses". In January 2022 it was announced by Metrolinx that two more were converted for a total of 5, with more units to be converted later in the year (as of mid-2022 there were at least a total of 8 GO Vax buses in use).
 
In March 2023, the mobile COVID-19 vaccination clinic "Vax Buses" program came to an end. The three units (2437, 2438, 2439) are currently inactive from service
