This route used to be part of 100 (New Westminster Station to Vancouver International Airport - YVR), it was separated to 100 & 424 since Nov, 2001.

History

  • Nov, 2001 - 424 begin operation, the routing is Cessna Way - Miller Rd - Crossover Rd - North Service Rd (Air Canada Building) - Connector 2 - Grant McConachie Way - Vancouver International Airport Domestic Arrival Level 1 - Grant McConachie Way - South Perimeter Rd - Miller Rd - Vessna Way to Airport Station, operated by Oakridge Transit Centre.
  • Sept, 2003 - Richmond Transit Centre operating this route at peak hour.
  • Apr, 2004 - Begin with Community Shuttle vehicle operating in daily evening and late night, the Community Shuttle vehicles are operated by Richmond Transit Centre.
  • Sept 2006 - Operation moved to Vancouver Transit Centre after the closure of Oakridge Transit Centre.
  • Dec, 2006 - Resumed back to conventional bus service operating in daily evening and late night.
  • 2007 - Diverted to Templeton Street - North Service Rd
  • End 2007 - Brand new Nova Bus LFS  operating this service
