There are two permanent public art pieces at Lafarge Lake–Douglas. The first is located outside, titled ''TransLake'' by Trent Hutton of Bowen Island, BC. The artwork is a giant concrete frog surfacing from the concrete to represent the transformation of a rock quarry to Lafarge Lake, similar to the transformation of a tadpole to a frog. | |||
The second piece is inside the station in the concourse area titled ''Monohedral Tesselation'' by Dean Cloutier and Jarami Reid of Vancouver. The artwork is made up of an arrangement of single geometric shapes with no overlaps or gaps.
