Tri-Rail 501-506, 1001-1012 are 1987 UTDC BiLevel passenger cars.

They were ordered in order to provide a temporary commuter service while Interstate 95 and the Florida's Turnpike were simultaneously under construction in 1989. They were delivered in a white and green livery nearly identical to GO Transit's, as the expectation was that the cars would be sold off following the end of the demonstration period. After ridership exceeded expectations and Tri-Rail service was made permanent, the cars remained in service. They were refurbished in 2001-03, and were wrapped in Tri-Rail's blue sky with palm tree livery.
