Saskatoon Transit 404-407 (2nd)

Saskatoon Transit 404-407 (2nd) were 1984 GMDD TC40-102N buses. They are the second buses in Saskatoon Transit to carry the 404-407 fleet numbers, the previous were Flyer D800.

  • Involved in MVA with 0817 on October 5th, 2009. Was initially retired due to severely damaged engine cover. Re-entered service in 2010(?) after refurbishing.
  • Last active GMC built bus in Saskatchewan. Last active 6V71N/V730 power combination bus in Saskatoon, and Saskatchewan.
  • Was the oldest active bus from February 2014 to September 2014.
  • One of the few classics to go through refurbishing, and still retain original bulb taillights.

  • Had a 6V71N engine from a pre-1978 Newlook, and had a steel bumper.
  • One of the few Classics to go through refurbishing, and still retain original bulb taillights.
