LakeXpress is the public transportation system for Lake County, Florida.
History and Operations
LakeXpress started operating fixed-route service on May 21st, 2007 using a fleet of five buses on two different routes. The system has since grown to four fixed routes to serve the communities of Eustis, Lady Lake, Leesburg, Mount Dora, Umatilla and Zellwood.
Routes
LakeXpress operates the following routes from Monday to Friday, excluding weekends, Martin Luther King Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and New Year's Day:
