Aldershot High School Special is a school special route that operates during both peak periods to Downtown Terminal from Aldershot High School. It is designed to replicate the route 5 Francis.
5 Francis Special
Routing Details
The AM routing, from the Downtown Terminal, operates west on Ontario Street to Maple Avenue, where it heads southbound on Maple to North Shore Boulevard. It then travels west on North Shore until it reaches Francis Road, then travels northbound on Francis to Warwick Drive. It then heads west on Surrey Lane until it reaches King Road, where it turns right on King to Plains, taking that to LaSalle Park Road. It takes Lasalle Park to Fairwood Place West, taking that westbound to Aldershot High School. It's at this point where the bus goes out of service.
The PM routing, from Aldershot High School, operates east on Fairwood Place West to LaSalle Park Road, where it heads northbound on Lasalle Park to Plains Road. It then travels east on Plains Road until it reaches Francis Road, then travels southbound on Francis to North Shore Boulevard. It then travels east on North Shore until it reaches Maple Avenue, taking that northbound to Ontario Street, taking Ontario east to Brant Street, turning right on Brant Street and left on James Street before it parks in the small lane-way between Elizabeth and John Street in Downtown Terminal. It's at this point where the bus goes out of service.
