ZF Ecomat 2

The ZF Ecomat 2 series of transmissions was introduced in 2001. They are essentially an improved version of the ZF Ecomat series. Each model of the Ecomat 2 series are available with retarder and ability to go into neutral a short time after the vehicle has completely stopped. The Ecomat 2 were offered in four, five, or six speed variants, but around 2006, the four speed versions were discontinued
