York Region Transit 991-996 is wheelchair accessible.

York Region Transit 991-996 are ElDorado E-Z Rider II MAX buses built and delivered in 2009.

This batch was ordered specifically for Community Bus routes, and have a number of different features. They have a modified low-floor seating arrangement to allow for 3 wheelchair positions, and have ramps at both the front and rear doors. Another difference from the previous E-Z Rider II batch is the fleet numbers on this series are in a more bolded font.

These buses operate primarily on route 522 Markham Community Bus, but may be seen on lower-ridership conventional routes in Markham and Richmond Hill, including routes 9, 80, 82, and 91B. All units were originally based out of Southwest Division; however, some vehicles were transferred in August 2012 in order to minimize deadheading times.

These buses were all for expansion, replacing the ELFs previously used on community routes. The ELFs went to normal Mobility Plus service.
