City of Winnipeg Transit System or Winnipeg Transit has been the transit provider for the city of Winnipeg since January 1, 1972. Service was previously provided by the Metropolitan Corporation of Greater Winnipeg. There is currently a fleet of 550? buses, with roughly 75 high-floors (mostly D40s) and 475 low floors. There may be an order of ex-OC Transpo D60LFs by late 2013.
