Van Hool A330
The Van Hool A330 is an 40 foot (12 metre) transit bus. It was introduced in 1997 followed by introduction to North America in 2003 with AC Transit. The A330 was superseded by the A300L in 2008 for North America.

The A330 has the engine mounted longitudinally at the rear offside. This allows for a full low floor to the rear and an option for three doors. The radiator is mounted above the engine, however some agencies choose to have the distinctive front hood on the roof that houses the engine cooling system on other models.
In addition to a standard diesel drivetrain, the AG300 could be configured for CNG fuel and electric trolleybus operations. The fuel cell powered A330, called the A300FC, was introduced in 2007. There is a European variant and a North American variant. An option for a diesel-electric hybrid drivetrain was introduced in 2010.
The early AG300 shared a rectilinear appearance with Van Hool's other buses throughout the 1990s. In 2001, Van Hool redesigned their transit bus line, adding the word "New" to the model designation. The buses received sleek, lines, flush-mounted windows, and round headlights.
There are a few differences between AG300 sold in North American and Europe. The front door on the North American model is slightly narrower. Exterior lighting also differs, conforming to the norms of the respective operating environment.
