About Me

Unlike many on this site, my obsession with transit didn't start until my mid-teens. For most of my early years, I rarely, if ever rode transit. For the first 6 years of my life, growing up near Seattle, I remember riding King County Metro just once or twice. However, in grade 10 I started taking the school bus and public transit to and from school. And while the bus was rarely on time and sometimes took longer than driving, I still enjoyed the experience. Soon, I got into environmentalism and realized the role that transit must play in a sustainable future. This led to me getting absolutely obsessed with public transit, and I started devouring all the information I could about it, as well as going out to take pictures of buses and ride buses outside of my regular commute.
