BC Transit 780-781 were General Motors Diesel Division T6H-4521 buses built for BC Hydro and Power Authority in 1970. Transferred to Urban Transit Authority/Metro Transit Operating Company in 1979. UTA/MTOC renamed BC Transit in 1982 In 1975 all Victoria buses were renumbered on paper into 8000 series but only the last three digits were displayed on the buses. Some of these units transferred to Municipal systems and renumbered to Unified Provincial Fleet numbers as noted.
