193 Exhibition Rocket was a bus route operated by the Toronto Transit Commission in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

Route Details

The former routing of route 193.

This route connected Dundas West Station and the Exhibition. It serviced Roncesvalles Avenue between Bloor Street West and Dundas Street West, Dundas Street West between Roncesvalles Avenue and Dufferin Street, and Dufferin Street between Dundas Street West and Springhurst Avenue, making no stops along the route. Its northern terminal was Dundas West Station and the southern terminal was the Exhibition at Dufferin Loop for its one branch, 193. This route only operated during the Canadian National Exhibition or other special events on the Exhibition Grounds.

Originally included as part of the TTC's initiative to rebrand it's surface express routes, the route was to be renumbered 993. However, since Dufferin Station became accessible, service on the 193 was considered to be redundant and was not operated during 2018 CNE season. Service was supplemented by special express runs on the 29 Dufferin route. In addition, the route was later removed from the TTC's express rebranding project which may suggest the permanent discontinuation of this route.

• August 18, 2006 - Route made accessible with lift-equipped and low-floor buses.
• July 11, 2015 - Moved to Queensway Division for Pan Am Games service. After the Pan Am Games, this route moved to Wilson Division.
• August 2018 - Route discontinued. Service was considered redundant since Dufferin Station became accessible.
