This route services Metropolitan Parkway between the Sterling Heights Metropolitan Parkway Target store and Dequindre Road, Dequindre Road between Metropolitan Parkway and 8 Mile Road, 8 Mile Road between Dequindre Road and Woodward Avenue and Woodward Avenue between 8 Mile Road and the State Fair Transit Center.

History

• July 1, 1991 - Route introduced, contracted to ATE Management & Services.
• June 9, 1994 - SMART takes over operation after privatization costs are eliminated after ATE's drivers joined the Amalgamated.
• January 4, 2021 - Route extended north to the Beaumont Hospital Troy campus. Service through the Target shopping center at Metropolitan Parkway is discontinued.
