Suburban Mobility Authority for Regional Transportation 2101-2140

Suburban Mobility Authority for Regional Transportation 2101-2180 were 2001 35' Gillig Low Floor (G22B102N4) buses. These buses were SMART's first Gillig Low Floors (virtually all future SMART buses, except for two, would be Low Floors), as well as the first in a large amount of Gillig Low Floors that were ordered by SMART in the early 2000's to replace it's older high-floor buses. These were also the first buses purchased by SMART in the new millennium. Upon delivery, these replaced eleven-year-old TMC RTS-08 buses 9001-9033. This single order, which was made in 2000, made the Gillig Low Floor the most recognizable SMART bus, displacing the RTS.

Retirement of these buses gradually occurred between early 2010 and October 2014.
