Sound Transit 9553-9565 are New Flyer Industries D60LFR buses built in 2010.
These units were purchased as part of a joint order of 24 high capacity articulated coaches using options successfully transferred from King County Metro Transit. The total contract value for the buses between King County Metro and Sound Transit was $23,391,675 USD[1]. These units began entering service in early January 2011. This order of express buses comes equipped with frameless windows, overhead luggage racks and reading lamps.
