Norwalk Transit District, or WHEELS, is the transit system serving the City of Norwalk and the surrounding communities in Connecticut.
History
- Established in 1974, but started running bus service in 1978.
Routes
WHEELS
Buses running on these routes operate on weekdays from 5:40 AM to 8:15 PM and certain routes operate on Saturdays from 6:15 AM to 7:35 PM. There is no Sunday service. All routes begin at the WHEELS Hub. During the evening hours, they are taken over by the Connecticut Ave. and Main Ave. shuttles.
