North Bay Transit provides bus service within the city limits of North Bay, Ontario.[1]

History

Started in 1968 and contracted to Charterways Transportation until the City of North Bay assumed the operations on April 19, 1972.[2]

Downtown Terminal Map

Routes operate Monday to Friday 6:15 am to 00:15 am, Saturday 6:30 am to 00:15 am and Sunday 8:30 am to 6:15 pm.[1]

1A College/University via Algonquin
  • The 6:15am trip services the Hospital before the Education Centre.
  • The 6:45am, 3:45pm and 10:00pm trips Monday to Friday service the Bay Truck Stop on Highway 11.
  • The 8:00am and 4:00pm Sunday trips service the Bay Truck Stop on Highway 11.

  • Early Morning Service - leaves Lavase Rd & Hughes Rd at 6:10am to arrive at the terminal at 6:25am.
  • Service to One Kids Place on request only.
  • Service to Couchie Memorial on request only after 5:30pm and on Weekends & Holidays.

  • Aviation Centre is by request only after 6:00 pm and on weekends.

  • Family Travel Plan - Monday to Thursdays from 5:00 p.m. until end of service and weekends beginning Friday at 5:00 p.m. through until end of service service Sunday, up to 3 children under the age of sixteen (16) can ride free with their fare paying parent(s) or guardian(s).
