Mississauga Transit 0930-0941
MiWay 0930-0941 were 2010 model 32' ElDorado National E-Z Rider II MAX buses built in 2009.
In January 2008, a tender was issued for the supply of 24 30' low floor diesel buses. City View Bus Sales was the only one to respond to the tender at a cost of approximately $9.5 million, and they were awarded the contract for 24 buses. 12 buses (0888-0899) were delivered in January 2009 and 12 buses (0930-0941) were delivered in August 2009.
Delivery began in July 2009, and the buses began entering service in September 2009. Upon entering service, these units replaced 9105, 9127, 9132, 9134, 9139, 9201, 9208, 9304, 9306, and 9308, which had been retained for an extra year's service.
Retirement of these buses began in 2017. While MiWay had a service life of 12 years for 30 foot buses, it was decided to retire all of the ElDorado buses (0701-0712, 0888-0899, 0930-0941) by early 2018 due to increased operating costs and declining reliability.
Following retirement, many MiWay ElDorado buses were purchased by companies such as City View Bus Sales, Mississauga Bus Group, and Tokmakjian Inc. with some being resold to other operators.
