Kingston Transit route 17 is a seasonal night shuttle route operated by Kingston Transit in the city of Kingston, Ontario, Canada, within the vicinity of Kingston's University District.
Route Details
This route primarily provides night bus services to the Queen's University Main and West campuses, along with the University District, Downtown, the Princess Towers area, and the An Clachan student housing. It does not operate when university is not in session (such as during Reading week)
This service, along with the service provided by routes 18 and 20, is partially subsidized by the Queen's Alma Mater Society.

This route has four branches:
- 17A An Clachan - Princess and Albert via Main Campus (Through service on branch 17W)
- 17D Downtown - West Campus via Main Campus and KGH (Through service on branch 17P)
- 17P Princess and Albert - Downtown via Main Campus and KGH (Through service on branch 17A)
- 17W West Campus - An Clachan via Main Campus (Through service on branch 17D)
History
Route 17 was originally a single route running between An Clachan and Main Campus via downtown Kingston and West Campus. It served the same purpose of providing night service within the Queen's University area.
September 2018 saw the route split into four branches, allowing the route to serve more locations within downtown Kingston. although in practice, route 17 is still a large loop route with each branch providing through service to another.
Vehicles
Route 17 is primarily a 40ft route, and uses New Flyer D40LF/D40LFR, New Flyer XD40, and Nova Bus LFS. Previously a specially wrapped vehicle was assigned to run this route, but due to fleet shortages this practice has ended.
