The route then continues north on 108th Avenue NE becoming 6th Street S, west on Kirkland Way and north on 3rd Street to Kirkland Transit Center. The route then continues north on 3rd Street, west on Central Way, north on Market Street, north on 98th Avenue NE, east on NE 120th Pl, north on 100th Avenue NE, east on NE 124th Street, north on 116th Avenue NE, and east on NE 128th Street NE to Totem Lake Transit Center.

Westbound trips depart Totem Lake Transit Center west on 128th Street NE, south on 116th Avenue NE, west on NE 124th Street, south on 100th Avenue NE, west on NE 120th Pl, south on 98th Avenue NE, south on Market Street, east on Central Way and south on 3rd Street to Kirkland Transit Center. The trips then continue south on 3rd Street, east on Kirkland Way and south on 6th Street S becoming 108th Avenue NE to South Kirkland Park & Ride. History

• March 2019 - Downtown Seattle Transit Tunnel closed to bus operations, route moved to operate on 5th Avenue on southbound trips, and 5th and 6th Avenues on northbound trips
• March 21, 2020 - Eastside transit route restructure: route modified to terminate at U District instead of Downtown Seattle, eastern terminus shortened from Brickyard Park & Ride to Totem Lake Transit Center.
• October 2, 2022 - U District terminus moved to NE Campus Parkway, adding stops further north along campus
