Hertz Corporation operated a fleet of 15 Gillig Low Floor 40' (G22D102N4) buses built in 1997. They were the first low floor buses ordered by Hertz, and also carried model designation 'H2000LF'.

The fleet was originally introduced at San Francisco International Airport (SFO) in May 1997 before being transferred to other airports across the United States.
