Halifax Transit route 16 'Parkland' provided service from the Bridge Terminal in Dartmouth to the Lacewood Terminal in Clayton Park via the MacKay Bridge. More importantly, the route provided much more direct service between Dartmouth and Mount Saint Vincent University, before requiring passengers to take a bus to Halifax and transferring to either a route 80 Sackville, 81 Hemlock Ravine or 18 Universities.
The route traveled from the Bridge Terminal to Lacewood via Victoria Road, the MacKay Bridge, Bedford Highway, Kearney Lake Road and Parkland Drive to Lacewood Drive.
