The General Motors TA60-102N, also known as the GM Articulated was an articulated transit bus that was built in 1982. The units were built under a Ontario provincial program to test and demonstrate a limited number of articulated buses to four systems. These were Hamilton Street Railway, Mississauga Transit, OC Transpo and the Toronto Transit Commission.
Construction
The front section used the first 30 feet of a 35 foot new look and the back half used the last 25 feet of a 40 foot new look. It featured a redesigned front end that would later become known as the Classic. The bodies were started at the St. Eustache plant and finished/tested at Diesel Division in London.
53 were built in total.
