GO Transit 8101-8125
GO Transit 8101-8125 were Alexander Dennis Enviro500 buses built and delivered in the last quarter of 2012. These were the same length as the previous orders (43 feet), but are of the manufacturer's newly-developed Go-Anywhere variant, which is 6 inches shorter (with a height of 13.6 feet) and sport an updated exterior styling with an angled, slightly aerodynamic front end, similar to the Enviro400, which would later provide the basis of the Enviro500 MMC ordered for systems in Asia. The lower height allowed these buses on a greater variety of routes than the earlier 8000-series units, but were still restricted from certain terminals due to height issues. They have seating for 81 individuals—30 on the bottom level and 51 on the top level.
Features on this series were similar to that of the previous series, including the usual Holdsworth "Scrible" moquette, LED interior lighting, Axion destination signs, and a front bumper that is flush with the body. There were also four LCD screens, two on each level, controlled with a Luminator controller intended to display information. However, since the installation of INIT CAD/AVL systems on each vehicle, they have been largely deactivated in favour of two LED signs: one mounted above the monitor on the lower deck behind the door, and another above the monitor at the front of the upper deck (instead of to the side, as on the original series).

History
By the end of 2019, some of these buses in this series were refurbished and repainted into the new two-tone scheme. This was done as part of a two-year refurbishment contract.
Assignment
As these buses have a lower height than their predecessors, they were able to be deployed on more routes around the GO network than the earlier 8000-series double deckers. However, due to height restrictions they were still unable to enter many of GO's major terminals, including Hamilton GO Centre, Union Station GO Bus Terminal, Yorkdale GO Bus Terminal, and York Mills GO Bus Terminal.
In their final years, those buses were based out of Aberfoyle, Halton Hills, Oshawa, Peterborough, Streetsville, and Steeprock garages, and can be found on routes 19C, 20, 25B/C/F, 27C, 29, 30, 39, 45, 46, 47, 48, 51, 52, 54, 81, 88, 90, 91, 92A, 93, and 96.
Retirement
At the start of April 2020, these buses were placed into storage. This was coincident with COVID-19 service reductions which meant less buses were needed. The buses were never returned to service. By the latter half of 2021, the buses were officially retired and began to be sold off. A number of buses have been purchased second hand by sightseeing tour companies.
