The Flyer Industries D901 was a revision of their D900. The most notable difference is the windshield wraps around the corner towards the A-pillar for improved visibility. Like the D900, the D901 uses a welded steel integral frame and has the engine mounted transversely at the rear. The D901 was available with the option for air conditioning and a wheelchair lift.
