New Jersey Transit recently unveiled a Public Service Transportation/Transport of New Jersey heritage livery. Public Service Transportation was a former bus operator, founded in 1917 and was bought out by NJ Transit in 1980. The company was owned by the Public Service Corporation, which is now the Public Service Electric and Gas Company.

TTC's restored GMC New Look 2252 posed beside Rapido Trains #3380 at the McNicoll bus garage on April 21, 2024. The Motor Bus Society was in town for its Spring 2024 convention and McNicoll was one of the garages that were visited. Jason Shron, President of Rapido Trains brought his GMC New Look (ex-Calgary) to the garage and can be seen behind the wheel of the bus.

Last week, the Hamilton Street Railway kicked off their 150th anniversary celebrations. Two buses have been wrapped in retro liveries. The Nova Bus LFS wears a livery introduced in the 1950s, and the New Flyer Industries XN60 wears a livery introduced in the 1970s.

Winnipeg Transit 645 (ex-Calgary Transit 7557) is a 1995 New Flyer D40LF and counts among the oldest active transit vehicles in service in Canada. The photo was taken at RRC Polytechnic on 30 May 2024. Along with the D40LFs, Winnipeg Transit also operate 2001 D30LFs. 934 is seen at Fife Loop also on 30 May 2024.

Two Pueblo Transit Millennium Transit Services RTS Legend buses at the garage. Both buses were retired about three years ago but 206 was brought back for six months in 2023 while awaiting delivery of a new bus.

VIA Rail's special 'Lumi' trainset on train 45, approaching mile 194 on the Kingston Sub in Napanee, Ontario. It is another way to celebrate the new fleet with a nod to the past. The livery is a callback to the iconic yellow Turbo Train that ran between Montréal and Toronto until 1982.
