History

  • Sun City Area Transit took over El Paso City Lines on January 17, 1977. They paid $2,395,000 for the garage and 41 buses; 10 4517s (5 were used), 11 ex Dallas 5303s, 20 T8H-5307As new in 1973. It also included $755,000 for the northern halves of the Stanton Street and Santa Fe Street toll bridges, separately financed.
