Route details
Route 403 serves the industrial areas of southern Oshawa. During peak periods, branch 403B provides additional frequency along the east portion of the route.
From Oshawa Centre, branch 403 trips operate east on Gibb Street, south on Park Road, east on Bloor Street, south on Park Road, east on Malaga Road, south on Glen Street, south on Oxford Street, west on Phillip Murray Avenue, north on Thornton Road, west on Wentworth Street, north on Thickson Road, and east on Bloor Street to Oshawa Station. Trips in the opposite direction follow the reverse routing to Oshawa Centre. Branch 403B trips from Oshawa Centre operate over the normal route to Oxford Street and Phillip Murray Avenue, then loop via south on Oxford Street, west on Lakeview Avenue, and north on Park Road to Phillip Murray Avenue, then return to Oshawa Centre.

- May 2015 - Branches 403A and 403B are cancelled.
- March 23, 2020 - Frequency reduced to "enhanced Saturday service levels" following the COVID-19 pandemic.
- June 8, 2020 - Frequency further reduced to Sunday service levels with additional weekday trips.
- circa September 2021 - Route names eliminated; now solely referred to as route 403.
- September 6, 2022 - Short-turn branch 403B introduced, providing 15 minute frequency between Oshawa Centre and Oxford/Phillip Murray during peak periods.
- June 19, 2023 - Service rerouted along Phillip Murray Avenue between Park Road and Stevenson Road; service removed from Lakeview Avenue and Renaissance Drive.
