Route details
The route 225 originates at Ajax GO Station and wind through multiple streets east to Audley Road North and Rossland Road. The route then travels on Salem Road and then loops at Williamson Drive and Warner Drive.
History
The route 225 was introduced on July 3, 2006 as the R-25. It was renumbered to 225 as part of a system wide renumbering to avoid duplicate numbers effective July 28, 2008.
DRT reorganized there Ajax routes beginning in May 2010 coinciding with the closure of Fairall Street for construction. The original route 225 originated at the Ajax GO Bus Terminal and traveled on Harwood Avenue, Westney Road, Taunton Road to get to Audley Road. It then headed west back to the GO terminal via Kingston Road. The 229 Elm and 235/235B Puckrin were withdrawn and incorporated into the 225.
