The route 117 Valley Farm is a Durham Region Transit (DRT) bus route serving northeast Pickering. It is operated by Westney Division.
Route details
The route originates from the Pickering Town Centre and the pedestrian bridge to Pickering GO Station. It travels along Fieldlight Boulevard to Valley Farm Road. It then travels on Third Concession towards Brock Road and up to William Jackson Road where it loops through the neighbourhood.
History
The route began service on September 4, 2012 as part of a city-wide route re-organization. It brought bus service to Valley Farm Road and serves new development in the Seaton Creekside area.
