Detroit Department of Transportation 1243-1246 is wheelchair accessible.

Detroit Department of Transportation 1243–1246 are Gillig Low Floor HEV (G30D102N4) buses which were built in Hayward, California; and delivered in March 2012. These are DDOT's first diesel-electric hybrid buses. These were part of the same order as 1201-1242 and are also the second DDOT buses to feature the fleet numbers 1243-1246, which were previously used by 1975 AMG 10240A-6 buses. This series is assigned exclusively to the Gilbert Terminal and are normally found on routes 21 Grand River, 22 Greenfield, 29 Linwood, 30 Livernois, 41 Schaefer and 60 Evergreen.
