This is an east-west route servicing the neighbourhoods of Renfrew Heights, Hastings-Sunrise, Hastings East, Downtown, Kitsilano and Dunbar.

The route leaves Dunbar Loop taking Dunbar Street northbound and uses Dunbar Diversion to access Alma Street. It turns eastbound on West 4th Avenue at Alma and then uses Hemlock and 5th Avenue to loop onto Granville Street and the Granville Bridge. It exits the bridge and continues northbound along Granville to take Cordova using Cordova Diversion to acccess Powell Street and then Dundas Street. It turns onto Nanaimo from Dundas southbound and continues until reaching Nanaimo Station on Nanaimo at 24th Avenue.
