7 Nanaimo Station/Dunbar is a bus route operated by Coast Mountain Bus Company in Metro Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.
Route Details
This is an east-west route servicing the neighbourhoods of Renfrew Heights, Hastings-Sunrise, Hastings East, Downtown, Kitsilano and Dunbar.
The route leaves Dunbar Loop taking Dunbar Street northbound and uses Dunbar Diversion to access Alma Street. It turns eastbound on West 4th Avenue at Alma and then uses Hemlock and 5th Avenue to loop onto Granville Street and the Granville Street Bridge. It exits the bridge and continues northbound along Granville to take Cordova using Cordova Diversion to acccess Powell Street and then Dundas Street. It turns onto Nanaimo from Dundas southbound and continues until reaching Nanaimo Station on Nanaimo at 24th Avenue.
Westbound trips use Nanaimo, Dundas, Powell until Main Street, West Pender into Downtown and then Granville to get onto Granville Bridge. It loops onto 4th Avenue from Granville Bridge via West Cloverleaf and Fir Street. Certain westbound trips terminate on Nanaimo at Hastings and become route 16 29th Avenue Station/Arbutus travelling along Hastings Street to Renfrew. The final trip of the night terminates on Howe at Dunsmuir.
Service in Downtown Vancouver will continue to route via Seymour Street and Howe Street instead of Granville on weekends, holidays, days preceding holidays and Fridays after 9pm when Granville Street access is restricted to pedestrians only.
The first trip departing Nanaimo Station terminates at E. Hastings Street & Nanaimo Street while the last trip of the evening departing Nanaimo Station terminates at Dunsmuir Street & Howe Street.
