181 Moody Centre Station/Ioco is a Community Shuttle route operated by Coast Mountain Bus Company in Metro Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.

Route Details

This is a north-south circular route running in Port Moody connecting Moody Centre Station and the old Ioco townsite along Ioco Road. Service runs daily every 30–40 minutes on weekdays and every hour on weekday evenings and all day weekends/holidays. From June to September, service on weekends/holidays runs every 30 minutes. Nighttime service also extends north to Belcarra and Anmore to replace the 182 Belcarra/Moody Centre Station service.

Trips depart from Moody Centre Station heading south on Hugh Street, west on St. Johns Street, north on Moody Street, east on Murray Street, north on Ioco Road, west on Ioco Road, north on 1st Avenue, west on 1st Street, south on 2nd Avenue to 2nd Avenue & Ioco Road, where it continues east on Ioco Road, south on Ioco Road, west on Murray Street, south on Moody Street, east on Spring Street, north on Williams Street to Moody Centre Station.

Nighttime northbound trips continue north to Belcarra and Anmore via regular route up until Ioco Road and 1st Avenue, where the route continues north on 1st Avenue, east on Sunnyside Road to Anmore Grocery, where it turns around and goes south on Sunnyside Road, west on Bedwell Bay Road, west on Midden Road, north on Belcarra Bay Road to Belcarra Bay Road at Whiskey Cove Lane. Return trips then continue south on Belcarra Bay Road, east on Bedwell Bay Road, south on 1st Avenue, east on Ioco Road and then the regular route to Moody Centre Station.

History

• September 2003 - Service introduced, replacing the Port Moody Station and Ioco portions of the 148 Ioco/Lougheed Station. Service also absorbed the former 148's seasonal branch service to White Pine Beach and ran as C25 White Pine Beach/Coquitlam Station. The C25 number was previously used on Bowen Island as the C25 Bluewater/Snug Cove, which ran from around 2002 to September 2003 when it was renumbered to C10
• April 2005 - Service rerouted via Murray Street to service new residential developments. Service along Ioco Road between Murray Street/Guildford Way and Barnet Highway and on St. Johns Street between Ioco Road and Williams Street discontinued
• April 2006 - Seasonal service to White Pine Beach discontinued and replaced by the C20 White Pine Beach/Coquitlam Station
• December 2016 - Route renumbered and renamed from C25 Port Moody Station/Ioco with no changes in routing or frequency
• June 2021 - Introduction of additional summer seasonal service with weekend/holiday frequency increased from every hour to every 30 minutes
