116 Edmonds Station/Metrotown Station is a bus route operated by Coast Mountain Bus Company in Metro Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.
Route Details
This is an east-west route running in Burnaby connecting Edmonds Station and Metrotown Station through Big Bend and Suncrest. Service runs daily every 30 minutes and every 10–12 minutes during peak hours.
Eastbound trips depart Metrotown Station heading east on Central Boulevard, west on Imperial Avenue, south on Sussex Avenue, west on Portland Street, south on Patterson Avenue, west on Marine Drive, south on Roseberry Avenue, west on Marine Way, south on Boundary Road becoming North Fraser Way, west on Marine Way, north on Byrne Drive becoming Southridge Drive, north on Griffiths Drive, and west on 18th Avenue to Edmonds Station.
Westbound trips depart Edmonds Station heading east on 18th Avenue, south on Griffiths Drive, west on Southridge Drive becoming Byrne Road, east on Marine Way, south on North Fraser Way, becoming Boundary Road, east on Marine Way, north on Greenwall Avenue, west on Marine Drive, north on Joffre Avenue, east on Rumble Street, north on Sussex Avenue, west on Imperial Street, north on Willingdon Extension becoming Willingdon Avenue, and east on Central Boulevard to Metrotown Station.

History
- March 1986 - Service introduced as 116 Suncrest/Metrotown Station, connecting Metrotown Station with the Suncrest community and replaced portions of the 130 Suncrest/Kootenay Loop south of Metrotown[1]
- September 1997 - Peak hour service extended to service Glenlyon and North Fraser Industrial parks[2]
- September 2001 - Metrotown Station reconstruction: Terminus temporarily revised to Patterson Station[3]
- October 2001 - Service after 10:00 PM eliminated and early morning weekend service reduced due to budget shortfall[4][5]
- November 2001 - Metrotown Station reopens; service to Patterson Station discontinued[6]
- December 2005 - Service extended from Suncrest to Edmonds Station and introduction of all-day daily service to North Fraser Industrial Park; partial portion of route taken over by Community Shuttle C6 Metrotown Station/Suncrest[7]
- April 2011 - Weekend and holiday service revised to operate with Community Shuttles[8]
- December 2014 - Service along Byrne Road between North Fraser Way and Marine Way discontinued and service extended further south along North Fraser Way and Marine Way to better serve the Big Bend industrial area[9][10]
- September 2016 - Route operations moved from Burnaby Transit Centre to Hamilton Transit Centre as part of a mass re-organization involving closure of North Vancouver Transit Centre and the transfer of all its operations to Burnaby Transit Centre
- September 2017 - Metrotown Station renovations: Metrotown Station terminus moved from Bay 5 inside the bus loop to Bay 12 along Central Boulevard
- September 2020 - Weekend/holiday trips revised to run with conventional vehicles
- January 2021 - Peak hour service increased from every 15 minutes to every 10–12 minutes
