After an initial trial on the [[Coast Mountain Bus Company 9726-9791|9726–9791]] series Novas, hard barriers were installed replacing the "shower curtain" installed on all non-barrier buses during the COVID-19 pandemic. Installation work on this series was anticipated to start in November 2023 but has yet to commence. By March 2024, it was decided that barriers would not be installed as these units are close to retirement.

In April 2024, the B-Line branding was removed on all remaining units that did not have them removed during refurbishment or due to other reasons such as wear and tear or vandalism.
