Cardinal Coach Lines 2836-2839 were 2002 model Thomas Saf-T-Liner EF buses. Their features included a rear wheelchair lift, dual roof hatches, air brakes, an interior speaker/PA system, and an exterior light monitor panel above the driver's seat.

The units were purchased second-hand from a First Student branch in Alaska, and arrived in Calgary in 2006. 2836 was primarily used on Christine Meikle School special needs routes, while 2837-2839 were used mostly on Conseil Scolaire FrancoSud school routes.
