Brampton Transit 9641-9645
Brampton Transit 9641-9645 were Orion VI (06.501) buses built in 1996 by Orion Bus Industries. They were the first Orion VI order delivered to a Canadian transit agency, and along with D40LF's 9638-9640 (delivered earlier that year), some of Brampton's earliest low-floor accessible buses. This order would be delivered in July 1996, and Brampton would eventually place a second order for 19 more Orion VI buses, delivered in 1998 (9846-9864).
All units had pairs of small televisions installed for an "IT-TV" advertising program. The program was discontinued but most buses retained the TV's. All were removed by the end of 2005, a few years after.
As of September 2007, all had been refurbished and repainted into the newer livery with new seat inserts and vandal-resistant material at the rear (done between 2006-2007). 9642 sports the City of Brampton logo on the seat inserts, the rest feature Brampton Transit.
All were retired by March 2013.
