BC Transit 6380-6381 were GMDD T6H-4521 "New Look" buses built in 1970.
They were originally built for BC Hydro Transit as 780-781, and were transferred to the Urban Transit Authority upon its creation in 1979. While officially numbered in the 8000 series, buses operating in Victoria typically only displayed the last 3 digits. Under the Unified Provincial Fleet (UPF) system, they were assigned fleet numbers 6380-6381, and were renumbered to their UPF fleet number when transferred to systems outside Victoria.
Both units were built with only a single door; they were retrofitted with rear doors by 1980.
